OXYENERGY Story Starting from New Zealand: Let Gut Happiness Create Overall Wellness

Talking about health preservation, we often overlook the importance of a starting point — the gut. As a nutrition brand based in New Zealand, we believe that true wellbeing starts from the moment you select natural ingredients.

  1. Pure environment in New Zealand: the first gate of good ingredients

  • New Zealand is always known as "the last pure land in the world":
    • Surrounded by ocean and far from industrial pollution;
    • Pastures and farms with strict environmental and animal-welfare rules;
    • Clean water and soil with mild climate enable free growth of plants and animals.
  • For OXYENERGY, starting from New Zealand is not only about "beautiful scenary", but about the peace this land brought.
    • Better traceability: from pasture and farm to factory, the supply chain is relatively concentrated, making it easier to manage and track;
    • Strict regulations: New Zealand has a well-established regulatory framework for food and health-related products, and our R&D and production must follow relevant local regulations and standards;
    • Rich natural resources: dairy, plant ingredients and marine resources provide stable and high-quality options for our formulations.

We hope our products can start from a cleaner, more reassuring origin.

  1. Carefully selected ingredients & local factories: making reassurance visible

Building a factory in New Zealand is not only choosing a site — it means a complete set of considerations.
  • Our principles for selecting ingredients
When developing formulas, we look closely at three things:
  • Safety and compliance: in line with relevant regulations in New Zealand and in the markets where the products are sold;
  • Scientific support: we prefer ingredients that are widely recognised in nutrition and wellness, supported by existing research;
  • Stable supply: reliable sourcing so we can maintain long-term supply and quality control;

  • Why produce locally?
    • Shorter distance from raw materials to factory, reducing uncertainty during transport;
    • Easier oversight of the production process, with full records from equipment cleaning to batch-by-batch testing;
    • Closer collaboration with local labs and technical teams, so we can respond more quickly when improving products.

  1. Understanding what you need: the GUT lies under deepest health anxiety

Instead of rushing to sell products to the public, we conducted interviews, surveys and market data analysis, learning about how people of different ages and lifestyles feel in their bodies .
We kept seeing a similar pattern from young people just entering the workforce, middle-aged people who is the backbone of their family, to elderly people who has already dedicated their life to society, the issues most often mentioned — and most easily normalised — were all related to the gut:
  • Feeling bloated after meals and often describing digestion as “slow”;
  • Irregular routines and frequent eating out leading to unsatisfying bowel habits;
  • Occasional acid reflux or repeated stomach discomfort that people “keep putting off seeing a doctor about”;
  • The gut reacts first when stressed, with immune resilience rising and falling along with it.

Based on this feedback, we saw a shared, foundational health need: a more stable and reliable gut health. That's why we choose this as the starting point of our health philosophy.
We're not exaggerating, but the following problems might be caused by gastrointestinal imbalance:
  • Long-term nutrient absorption;
  • Metabolic burden on the liver and kidneys;
  • Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular function;
  • Fluctuations in overall condition.
We do want to gently remind: Many health issues that look separate on the surface may share the same starting point — the gut.

  1. Planning whole-body health with the gut as the entry point

  • With prebiotics, dietary fiber & enzymes
  • For daily bowel movements*
Our goal is not to develop an "all-in-one" product that can "solve all problems," but to enable everyone to choose the solution that best suits their specific circumstances. If you have similar problems, why not try the corresponding product and feel the changes in your body?

Closing: caring for your gut is a practical and gentle way to care for your whole body

No matter how fast modern life moves, there are still a few small things each of us can do for ourselves:
  • Make meals more regular, simpler and closer to the natural form of food.
  • Give the gut some buffer time — less “too much”, “too fast” and “too greasy”.
  • When needed, use compliant, trustworthy nutritional products as a supporting tool for daily management.
  • Regard the gut as a “switch” for whole-body health, and from there extend your long-term attention to the liver, kidneys and heart–brain system.
Next week we will tell you why gut health is so important to us, so stay tuned!
