Q1: How long before I see results?

Q2: Is this a laxative? Will it cause dependency?

No, it is not a stimulant laxative and is non-habit-forming. It works by using soluble fibre to add bulk and softness to stool, combined with prebiotics to improve your gut flora, helping your intestines return to their natural rhythm.

Q3: How many sachets should I take per day?

For most people, one sachet daily is sufficient. If your diet is very low in fibre or you have stubborn constipation, you can take up to two sachets daily and adjust as needed.

Q4: Will it cause a sudden, urgent need to go to the toilet?

No. Unlike harsh laxatives, it won't cause a sudden "rush to the bathroom." It works gently to improve bowel function, making you regular and comfortable.

Q5: Can I take this if I have diarrhea?

It is not recommended for occasional diarrhea. For those with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), please consult your doctor before use.

It is suitable for those 12 years and older. For children under 12, please seek advice from a doctor.

Q7: What's the best time of day to take it?

It can be taken before or after meals. For best results, take with a full glass of water (200-300ml or more).

Q8: Do I need to drink a lot of water?

Yes. Drinking plenty of water is essential for Psyllium Husk to expand and work effectively. Results may be less effective if you don't drink enough.

Q9: Is it normal to feel bloated after taking it?

When first increasing dietary fibre, some people may experience minor bloating or gurgling sounds. This usually settles within 2-3 days. If discomfort occurs, try reducing the dose and drinking more water.

Q10: Can I take this with probiotics?

Yes, absolutely! Taking them together can be even more beneficial. The FOS and fibres in our product are prebiotics, which act as food to help probiotics work more effectively.
