Q&A

Q1: How long does it take to see results?

Most people notice more regular and comfortable bowel movements within 1–3 days. For longer-term digestive support, consistent use is recommended.

Q2: Is this a laxative? Will it be habit-forming?

No, it is not a stimulant laxative and is not considered habit-forming. It works by using soluble fibre to add bulk and softness to the stool, together with prebiotics to support a healthy gut microbiome and regular bowel function.

Q3: How many sachets should I take per day?

For most people, one sachet daily is sufficient. If your diet is very low in fibre or you experience occasional constipation, up to two sachets daily may be taken if needed.

Q4: Will it cause a sudden, urgent need to go to the toilet?

No. Unlike stimulant laxatives, it is not designed to cause a sudden urge to open the bowels. It works more gently to support regular bowel function and digestive comfort.

Q5: Can I take this if I have diarrhoea?

It is not recommended for use during episodes of diarrhoea. If you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), please consult your doctor before use.

Q6: Is it suitable for children?

It is suitable for children aged 12 years and over. For children under 12, please seek advice from a doctor before use.

Q7: What's the best time of day to take it?

It can be taken before or after meals. For best results, take it with a full glass of water (200–300 mL or more).

Q8: Do I need to drink a lot of water?

Yes. Drinking plenty of water is important for psyllium husk to expand and work effectively. The product may be less effective if you do not drink enough water.

Q9: Is it normal to feel bloated after taking it?

When first increasing dietary fibre, some people may experience mild bloating or abdominal gurgling. This usually settles within 2–3 days. If discomfort occurs, try reducing the dose and increasing your water intake.

Q10: Can I take this with probiotics?

Yes. They can be taken together. The FOS and fibres in this product act as prebiotics, helping to nourish beneficial gut bacteria and support the activity of probiotics.
